To Eat or Not to Eat Out During a Global Pandemic?

More than half of all Americans are avoiding eating at restaurants as a global pandemic continues to kill hundreds of thousands, according to a Social Explorer analysis of the Aug. 31 Census Bureau’s Household Pulse Survey. Almost two-thirds of Washington, D.C., residents said they were avoiding restaurants; only 41.8 percent of Wyoming’s adult population said they were shunning food service establishments.
