After the early primary states and Super Tuesday, voters in 18 states around the nation have weighed in on the Democratic Party presidential candidates. Now we have smaller batches of states on the primary election calendar. The next group to have primaries (on Tuesday, March 3rd) consists of Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota and Washington.

According to the 2014-18 American Community Survey, these latest primary states range in population from North Dakota (655,268) to Michigan (9,957,488).
