FRIDAY, MAY 07, 2021

With hundreds of thousands of data variables to search through on Social Explorer, sometimes finding the exact variable you need can be time-consuming. With our new Search variables feature, things just got a lot easier.

Let's Get Searching

Searching for income-specific data? No need to look through tons of categories or years to find exactly what you are looking for anymore. Now, simply click on the new "Search" tab in the Change data menu to get all the data and information you need in a matter of seconds.

Click on the Search tab to find the exact data you need

To begin, type "income" into the search menu. You also have the option of setting parameters, including "year" and "source" if you know the specific variables you wish to search. All the data variables on Social Explorer will then appear in the search menu for you to explore. The search results also show the years available for individual variables, allowing you to look at and search through data from different years easily.

The new Search variables feature also offers suggestions for related terms that are used most often with your search input. You can add as many related terms to your search to further specify your data search.
