Have you always wanted to compare the same data across different years but did not want to create multiple reports to do so?

You asked, and we delivered. We know that data can be confusing and complex, so our goal is to simplify the process. The new Change Over Time feature in our reporting tool allows users to view data of interest for multiple years (you can currently choose up to three different years to compare) or easily switch the years on one convenient report, eliminating the need to download reports for each individual year. 

Let's Get Started!

Clean, simplified data is only a few clicks away. To get started, go to our new reports tool to begin creating your report. Choose all your variables of interest from the survey and click “create report”.

When viewing your newly created report, turn your focus on the menu in the right-hand side of your screen. Click on the “Modify report” option. 

Find the “Modify report” option on the menu on the right-hand side of your screen.

Here is where you will be able to switch the year you wish to explore or choose the years you wish to compare. Choose up to three and click done.

Choose up to three years to compare change over time.

A new screen will appear showing you what percentage of geographies and tables match your selected years. Click “confirm” to continue.

This screen will show you what percentage of data is available for your selected years.

Your report will now display all data for your selected year/s. Please note that some geographies and tables may be missing for certain years, due to insufficient data in certain tables. If so, they will appear empty on your newly created report.

Compare data for multiple years on one convenient report!

With this new feature, you’ll be able to retrieve data for multiple years on the same report as well as see change over time for those years. This feature will also allow you to easily switch between different years through the modify report option. This new update eliminates the need to create various reports for several years as you can now view all of the data and changes in the data in a single report.
